Tropical Cyclone Intensity and Track Prediction in the Bay of Bengal Using LSTM-CSO Method

چکیده

Tropical cyclones (TC) are extreme weather conditions caused by severe circular storms that originate in warm oceans. They strong destructive forces cause disastrous effects on human life and property, lead to economic damage. Therefore, it is necessary forecast the TC intensity avoid issues. This study proposes a using Long-Short Term Memory (LSTM) with Cat Swarm Optimization (CSO). The LSTM method was optimized technique improve accuracy reduce prediction errors. In this study, carried out latitude, longitude, pressure, wind speed of tropical from 2003 2019 Bay Bengal. performance proposed system evaluated metrics, such as accuracy, Root Mean Square Error (RMSE), Average Absolute Position Error, (MAE), Area Under Receiver Operating Characteristic Curve (AUROC). These compared results other traditional methods shows LSTM-CSO outperforms track prediction.
